Q
Have any tips for upper level education fears? I’m always fighting self worth and I grew up from a church that doesn’t have a lot of educated women to look up to. I just look at all my class work and wonder if I’m good enough to understand it. I think I’m smart enough, but I just can’t shake it by myself

my question to you is why is your self worth tied to academic success? your ability to do well in school shouldn’t be about you trying to define who you are. you do well in school because school is a tool to achieve your other goals in life. even if you don’t do well in a class, or you stumble to find your way doesn’t mean your idea of who you are should change. you are who you are whether you get the highest grade in class, or the lowest. so i would encourage you to take some time to figure out who you are, and what matters to you, independent of defining your worth by whether or not you do well, or whether or not you’re like everyone else hun

white people get to participate in the fun parts of being black
but never have to suffer the social stigma attached to it

People are weird as fuck by bullying you into sharing your life story so that they can find a reason to stop being mean to you.
